Mometasone is the effective drug used to deal and treat with the
skin disorders. With effectiveness FDA approval for any drug is also
essential. The approval to manufacture Mometasone and to sell it in
the market was approved by the Food and Drug administration in
US.Perrigo Company took the opportunity to announce this news on the
11th April that its Agis Industries received this approval.
Moreover Mometasone is an AB rated drug which is equivalent to the
Schering Plough’s Elocon Lotion. The approval for the Mometasone
topical solution USP 0.1% was made on 15th May 2005.
The brand name Nasonex under which Mometasone is available in the
market was approved by the FDA on 27th august 2004 which was
announced by the Kenilworth Nj.Nasonex is the only medication
prescribed to be inhaled once in a day. The approval of FDA was
based keeping in mind the extensive reviews, safety and efficiency
of the formulation of Mometasone.
According to the clinical test they are more recommended for the
first line therapy when the patient undergoes the primary symptoms
of the skin disorder due to rhinitis. Kenilworth Nj announced the
approval of Mometasone on 4th February by the FDA for the mometasone
in the form of powder to be inhaled. It was 110mcg used to maintain
the treatment due to asthmas. This was named as the Asmanex which is
the first one to be born in the market for such a purpose. Keeping
all this in view it is easy to say that Mometasone has a bright
future ahead.
